Pinellas County’s Skills Enhancement Training Program

The application for this program is now open.

The Skills Enhancement Training (SET) Program offers funding to target industry employers for the development and implementation of customized training programs. This program prioritizes upskilling talent within strategically identified industries, fostering a highly skilled workforce that meets the evolving demands of the market. Pinellas County Economic Development works closely with employers to identify training needs, develop targeted programs, and measure the impact on employee performance and business outcomes.

Quick Response Training Grant

New and Expanding Businesses

The Quick Response Training program, offered through CareerSource Florida, is for new businesses or those relocating to or expanding in Florida.

Enhance Employee Skills

For-profit, small businesses may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to 75 percent of training costs through Florida’s Incumbent Worker Training grant offered through CareerSource Florida.
