From Garage to Glass: Brewery Blends Craft Beer, Community, and Growth
At Pee Pa’s Garage Craft Brewery, guests can enjoy fresh craft beer, host private events, and try their hand at axe throwing in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The owners turned to the Florida SBDC at Pinellas County Economic Development to develop a strong business plan and financial projections that helped secure a personal loan to grow the business.

Reverse Trade Show Connects More Than 100 Businesses to Tampa Bay Buyers
On March 14, 2025, the Pinellas County Reverse Trade Show connected more than 100 business attendees with buyers from 26 government agencies and prime contractors. Boasting a post-event survey score of 9.75 out of 10, this year’s event exceeded expectations and garnered acclaim from its participants.

Pinellas Craft Brewery Pours Up a Glass to Business Resiliency and Success
Mastry’s Brewing Co. made history by becoming the first craft distillery in St. Pete Beach, offering a unique blend of handcrafted beers and spirits. With support from the Florida SBDC at PCED, owner Matthew Dahm tackled business planning and development, and connected with lenders to secure crucial funding. “They [Florida SBDC at PCED] helped me Identify the questions that I didn’t know to ask and line me up with the resources to really set us up for success on those next steps that we’re taking with our business development.”
The Florida SBDC at Pinellas County is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide partnership program nationally accredited by the Association of America’s SBDCs and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Department of Defense, State of Florida, and other private and public partners, with the University of West Florida serving as the network’s headquarters.
