Unincorporated Pinellas County (Population 287,200) 
Unincorporated Pinellas County offers excellent redevelopment opportunities for a variety of uses. The county is currently updating its Land Development Code to encourage job creation and high quality redevelopment projects. To assist businesses, the County provides Job Creation and Training Incentives, a Foreign Trade Zone, and a Brownfield program


St. Petersburg (Population 248,987)
With nearly 250,000 people, 9,900 businesses and 130,000 employees, St. Petersburg is one of the brightest spots in the Southeast, not only as a headquarters for new businesses, but as a home for a growing and talented workforce. St. Petersburg offers the amenities of a large, thriving metropolis, as well as the charm and quality of life of a small town. Featuring world class amenities for families and young professionals, including performing arts centers and outstanding museums, it is ranked as America’s No. 1 arts destination for cities its size

Clearwater (Population: 114,516)
Clearwater is known for its internationally famous beach, semitropical climate and cool breezes off the Gulf of Mexico. The city has a high coastal bluff which accentuates a picturesque view of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. World famous Clearwater Beach is at the heart of Pinellas County tourism market, drawing 5 million visitors each year. Based on millions of reviews, the 2018 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award ranked Clearwater Beach No. 1 in the United States and No. 7 in the world. As the county seat, the city hosts a large number of government offices. Clearwater also attracts a vibrant and successful business community through its strong local workforce and a coastal lifestyle that offers variety of outdoor recreational activities, world-class entertainment and professional and college sporting events. In a 2017 survey of U.S. corporate executives, the state of Florida ranked No. 2 in the nation for Best Business Climate for the state’s pro-business environment, favorable tax climate and strategic location.

Largo (Population: 76,199)
Centrally located in Pinellas County, the City of Largo is the 4th largest city inTampa Bay. It offers an excellent quality of life for its residents, an affordable cost of living, and proximity to a vast network of diversified businesses. Its central location and major thoroughfares make Largo easily accessible to everything from the white-sand Gulf Beaches to the International Airports.  Growth has been spurred by affordable land values and a family and business-friendly setting. The city also boasts a high quality system of parks and green space, recreational amenities, and cultural activities.


Pinellas Park (Population: 46,729)
Conveniently located with excellent transportation access and affordable land costs, Pinellas Park is already a major industrial and office employment center. Though located in the state's most densely populated county, Pinellas Park has maintained its small town atmosphere. It offers prime redevelopment opportunities for businesses and a variety of affordable lifestyle opportunities for residents. These include properties that permit horse ownership within the corporate limits, designated areas of the city as an Equestrian Community, and recreational trails and activities for equine owners.

Dunedin (Population: 36,277)
Incorporated in 1899 by Scottish pioneers, the City of Dunedin celebrates its Celtic heritage in its schools, streets, shopping centers and festivals. Today, it boasts four miles of open waterfront, over 220 acres of land dedicated to parks for public recreational use, a municipal marina, two state park islands, and a Major League Baseball spring training facility.  The Main Street area provides a mix of residential, office, retail and restaurant uses, all framed in a nostalgic, quaint setting. With its brick sidewalks, varied landscaping and decorative lighting, the downtown area is very pedestrian friendly, and visitors enjoy strolling along Main Street and its unique collection of shops.


Tarpon Springs (Population: 23,635)
Located on the scenic Anclote River, the City of Tarpon Springs is one of the most charming communities in the Tampa Bay area. Famous for its historic sponge industry and Greek heritage, the city has a strong historic preservation program. Its downtown is also known for its cultural treasures, antique shops, historic neighborhoods, and the Sponge Docks. The Pinellas Trail passes through this area. An extensive industrial area is located north of the Anclote and the marine industry remains a backbone of this waterfront city.


Safety Harbor (Population: 17,245)
The City of Safety Harbor is a well-planned, vibrant community that successfully balances responsible, innovative growth while carefully safeguarding its idyllic ambiance. Its quaint downtown, convenient neighborhood shopping centers and compact industrial zones are nestled around western Tampa Bay. Safety Harbor is highly regarded for its stable neighborhoods, A-rated schools, extensive parks and recreation system, state of the art library, community festivals and an open and responsive government. It is estimated that nearly 200,000 people attend City sponsored events every year.

Oldsmar (Population: 12,529)

Located at the top of Old Tampa Bay, Oldsmar is a unique city in Pinellas County. With its rich history, strategic location in the Tampa Bay area, abundant recreational activities, and small town charm, Oldsmar has much to offer its residents, visitors and business owners.
Oldsmar is positioned between the "best of two worlds", Metropolitan Tampa and the famed white sand Gulf Beaches of Pinellas County. The city is only 20 minutes from two international airports and centrally located to a variety of entertainment venues. This strategic location supports hundreds of office and industrial businesses with over 55,000 vehicles traveling daily through the city.

Gulfport (Population: 12,217)
Gulfport is a 2.5 square mile waterfront city with old Florida charm. Known for its friendliness, diversity, thriving arts community and off-beat historic flavor, Gulfport is a bit off the beaten path but well worth a visit.  Its historic waterfront area is full of restaurants, unique shopping experiences and home of the famed 1930s era Gulfport Casino. The Casino was the site of the first Gulfport election after incorporation in 1910. It still sports its hard wood floors and is a favorite spot for dance groups of all styles.


Seminole (Population: 10,520) 

Located in west-central Pinellas County, Seminole is predominately a residential community with robust commercial development. The area is known for its strong demographics, good schools and a family-oriented citizenship. Seminole’s proximity to the beaches and major travel routes makes the area attractive for business and residences.  The City is home to 1,500 businesses and 12,270 employees. It has especially strong commerce in health care and social services, with more than 550 companies clustered around the senior care industry. Major employers include Superior Uniform Group, Freedom Square, Inn at Freedom Square, Lake Seminole Square, St. Petersburg College, Keller Williams Realty, Home Depot and Publix Super Market.

Pinellas County's White Sand Beaches

Spanning the Gulf Boulevard corridor- from Clearwater in the north to St. Pete Beach in the south, eleven barrier island communities provide a combined 35 miles of beachfront, serving as the premiere tourism corridor in Pinellas County. Each community has its own character, ranging from intensive, tourist-oriented development, to traditionally-styled beach villages, to quiet neighborhoods of estate homes. Most of the area is tourist-oriented, with commercial, recreational and multifamily uses intermixed with single-family residential neighborhoods.
