STAR TEC and Pinellas County Announce The Pinellas Technology & Business Innovation Exchange
Clearwater, FL – August 13, 2007 – STAR Technology Enterprise Center (STAR TEC), in conjunction with Pinellas County Economic Development, announces the Pinellas Technology & Business Innovation Exchange.This reverse trade fair will match U.S. Department of Defense contractors with potential subcontractors, vendors and suppliers located in Pinellas County.
Scheduled for Friday, September 14, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, the Exchange will feature local companies with displays promoting their products and services within a tradeshow configuration. Prime defense contractors will tour the displays to meet new subcontractors and suppliers located in Pinellas County. The Exchange will also support community networking, encouraging exhibitors to look to each other for new partnerships and to increase local sales.
Interested Pinellas companies are urged to consider this opportunity to reach new customers. Basic exhibitor packages begin at $495. Exhibitors will be limited in number to facilitate more in-depth discussions with contractors. These spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain.
